Miniature Mandeville Centre
This project involved the creation of a detailed miniature model of the Mandeville Centre, utilising a combination of modern and traditional fabrication techniques. The model was meticulously crafted from plywood, perspex, and medium-density fibreboard (MDF), chosen for their durability and workability.
Precision laser cutting was employed to accurately replicate the intricate architectural features of the centre. Craft techniques were applied for assembly and detailing, ensuring a high-quality finish. Additionally, 3D printing was used to create complex components and specific design elements that required finer resolution. The final model serves as a precise scale representation of the Mandeville Centre, showcasing the potential of mixed fabrication methods in architectural modeling.
